Twiggy wasn’t created as a concept, they don’t have a brilliant strategic masterplan... so they started doing things a bit differently.
they replaced a shop by a house, trends by taste, clients by friends, shopping by inspiring,
a certain style by a unique style, buying clothes by feeding your soul.
Emma was invited by Twiggy, an extraordinary store in the heart of Ghent, to exhibit her work in their ‘house of Twiggy’. We created a bathroom, a bedroom, a livingroom.... It became a beautiful collaboration and curated exhibition between Twiggy's extra ordinary selection of clothing and Emma Terweduwe's textile work, while playing with the architectural elements which makes Twiggy one of the most special stores.
