Hand tufted rug design and matching handwoven pillows commissioned for the new concept stores of JBC .
JBC's new concept stores focus on ecological and local materials and makers. Emma was asked to design a rug and matching pillows for the fitting room area. The result is a hand crafted and hand tufted rug made with the softest wool and matching pillows, who are handwoven with the leftover yarns from the rug on Emma’s loom in her studio. In this way no materials went to waste and each pillow became a unique handwoven piece.
