FLOATS I is a delicately jacquard woven tapestry made from merino wool, linen, and cotton. It is part of a series of wall tapestries, FLOATS, created from a research about composition, shape, and color.
Through the use of color, natural and outspoken materials within the jacquard weaving technique allow FLOATS to become a tapestry with great tactile and organic aspects. The combination of different materials, including the linen floating threads on a graphic wool and cotton background, give a very unique and tactile feeling to the tapestry.
